Terms of Service

By using onekindfavor.org, you agree to these Terms with Pilot Mountain Unites ("Organization"), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating the One Kind Favor platform.

1. Platform Purpose

One Kind Favor is a charitable community platform connecting people who need assistance with volunteers and donors. We coordinate help but do not guarantee fulfillment of every request.

2. Not an Emergency Service

This platform is not for emergencies. Call 911 for immediate danger. Call or text 988 for mental health crisis support.

3. Help Requests

• Requests must be truthful and made in good faith
• We review all submissions and reserve the right to decline requests that cannot be verified or fulfilled
• Assistance is not guaranteed and depends on available resources

4. Donations

Donations are made to Pilot Mountain Unites and may be tax-deductible as allowed by law. Donation receipts are provided. Funds are used to support the One Kind Favor program and related charitable activities.

5. Acceptable Use

• Use the platform lawfully and respectfully
• Do not submit false requests or misuse donor/volunteer information
• Do not use the site for commercial solicitation unrelated to charitable partnership

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect damages, actions of volunteers or donors, or inability to fulfill requests. We facilitate connections but do not control third-party conduct.

7. Governing Law

North Carolina law applies. Disputes resolved in Surry County, North Carolina courts.
